1Unter dem Archon Kydenor; die Erechtheïs hatte die
2neunte Prytanie inne, für die Polyktemon S.d. Euktimenes
3aus dem Demos EupyridaiVI Sekretär war; im Elaphebolion am neunten,
4dem siebzehnten (Tag) der Prytanie;
5Haupt-Volksversammlung; von den Vorsitzenden leitete
6die Abstimmung Antikles S.d. Exekestos aus dem Demos Aixone und seine
7Mitvorsitzenden. Beschluß von Rat und Volk.
8Kallistratos S.d. Telesinos aus dem Demos Erchia stellte den Antrag: Da
9die Agoranomoi unter Archon Philoneos ihr
10Amt ausgeübt haben gemäß den Gesetzen und den
11Beschlüssen des Rates und des Volkes; sie auch Sorge getragen
12haben für das, was die Agora betrifft, in guter und gerechter Weise,
13und darüber auch Rechenschaft abgelegt haben; – Damit
14nun ein Wettstreit sei unter allen, die das Amt innehaben werden,
15dieses Amt auszuüben gemäß den Gesetzen, zu Glück
16und Heil!, wolle beschließen der Rat: dass die Vorsitzenden, die
17erlost sein werden zum Vorsitz für die kommende Volks-
18versammlung, hierüber verhandeln lassen und die Beschlussvorlage
19des Rates in die Volksversammlung einbringen, wonach der Rat
20es für gut befindet, dass man belobige die Agoranomoi

1In the archonship of Kydenor, in the ninth
2prytany, of Erechtheis, for which Polyktemon son of Euktimenos
3of Eupyridai was secretary. On the ninth of Elaphebolion,
4the seventeenth of the prytany.
5Principal Assembly. Of the presiding committee Antikles
6son of Exekestos of Aixone was putting to the vote and his fellow presiding committee
7members.                        The Council and People decided.
8Kallistratos son of Telesinos of Erchia proposed: since
9the market inspectors of the archonship of Philoneos
10conducted their office according to the laws and decrees
11of the Council and People, and managed
12the affairs of the market well and justly,
13and for these things have rendered their accounts; in order therefore that
14that there may be an incentive for all who will hold
15this office to perform it according to the laws, for good
16fortune, the Council shall decide: that the presiding committee
17allotted to preside for the coming Assembly
18shall put the matter on the agenda and submit the opinion
19of the Council to the People, that it seems
20good to the Council to praise the market inspectors
